Pickup Truck Drives Through Storefront
SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - A pickup truck slammed into a building Friday morning along Telegraph Road in Southfield.
WWJ's Bill Szumanski was over the scene in the LaFontaine Cadillac Buick GMC Chopper.
"This grey pickup truck is into the plate-glass front of this building here so far that all you can see is the top of the truck and the bed of the truck. The bed of the truck looks like it had sod or something in it, and so now folks are removing all of the contents and loading it onto another vehicle," Szumanski said.
The accident happened on southbound Telegraph just past 10 Mile Road at the United Paint Corporate Headquarters.
"We have delays on both sides of the road but once they do get the wrecker in here to clear this thing out-of-the-way, they may have to close down more lanes," Szumanski said.
Police say no one was injured in the accident.
