Phil Coke On Manti Te'o: 'Have You Met (My Imaginary Friend) Steve?'

Of course, as players were interviewed at the Tigers caravan, we had to find out if any player had a reaction to the Manti Te'o hoax story -- and pitcher Phil Coke was just the player to go to.
It might surprise you while making you laugh.
Coke said he'd never heard of it, saying, "I'm not really a media (person.)"
Then his memory was jogged, and Coke remembered the fake girlfriend tale.
"Who am I to tell this beast of a football player that his personal life has anything to do with me, his personal life is his personal life, if he wants to make stuff up, make stuff up ... If that's what's making him so awesome on the football field ..."
Then Coke introduced us to his very own special friend, Steve.
