Peterson, Ponder Questionable Against Lions
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and quarterback Christian Ponder are listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Detroit.
Peterson returned to practice in a limited role this week for the first time since sustaining a high ankle sprain in Week 11 against Oakland. The Vikings' leading rusher with 872 yards and 12 total touchdowns has missed two straight games.
Ponder suffered a hip pointer last weekend against Denver and was held out of practice until Friday. Backup Joe Webb would start if Ponder isn't ready.
Receiver Percy Harvin was limited again on Friday after tearing a ligament in his finger during Wednesday's practice. Harvin is probable for Sunday.
