Pedestrian Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver On Inkster Road
INKSTER (WWJ) - Police say a man was trying to cross the road when he was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver.
The incident happened around 6 p.m. Thursday on Inkster Road near Glenwood, just north of Michigan Avenue in Inkster.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident did not stop after the collision, according to police. The victim, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not yet released a description of the suspect's vehicle, but are seeking tips from the public.
