Pedestrian Hit, Killed On Woodward Avenue
PONTIAC (WWJ) - Authorities in Pontiac are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident. It happened Monday night, right in front of police headquarters.
Investigators said a 51-year old woman walked out onto Woodward Avenue near Pike Street, and was hit and killed. It was not known what the woman was doing there or why she had walked into the street.
The driver stopped and was questioned.
There was no immediate word on whether or not any charges would be filed. The incident remains under investigation.
