Pedestrian Dies In Macomb County
CLINTON TWP. (WWJ) - A 59 year-old Clinton Township man was struck and killed as he attempted to cross Harper Ave. near Metro Parkway Wednesday night.
The name of the victim has not yet been released. Police say he was crossing against a red light and was struck by a westbound vehicle on Metro Parkway.
The driver of the vehicle, a 19 year-old woman, stopped at the accident scene and waited for police. A breath test conducted at the scene was negative and police do not believe alcohol was a factor in the accident.
Clinton Township Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact the department at 586-493-7900.
