Pedestrian Accident Leaves 1 Man Dead
CLINTON TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - A 47-year-old man was killed in an early morning accident in Clinton Township.
It happened around 12:45 a.m. Sunday on eastbound Hall/M-59 west of Dalcoma Drive.
Police say the victim may have been attempting to cross eastbound Hall Rd. from the north curb lane (a left through lane) and was struck by an oncoming car traveling in the left through lane.
The man was hit by a 58-year-old woman, who stayed at the scene, following the accident. Police do not believe that alcohol was a factor for the driver involved in the accident.
Investigations are still pending. The police are withholding the identity of the man until next of kin is notified.
