It's always great when celebrities know who you are. Unless you're Tigers bench coach Gene Lamont.

Paul Rudd has taken a liking to Lamont, and has incorporated him into the "signing of take me out to the ball game."

In the second video Rudd explains why Gene Lamont. It started when Lamont was the third base coach for the Tigers and Will Ferrell and himself started "ripping him apart" and Ferrell would yell at him he was "the Darth Vader of baseball."

When they sing the seventh inning stretch they end it with "Gene Lamont."
