Pat Caputo: You're Going To Find Out Sooner Instead Of Later About The Lions And Matthew Stafford
It is rare when the bye week doesn't come at a good time for the Lions.
This season was no exception. The Lions are 1-5. They have been hindered by injuries, particularly to quarterback Matthew Stafford and middle linebacker DeAndre Levy, perhaps their two biggest cogs on each side of the ball, and the key components to the 2009 draft class everyone was going ga-ga about during the off season.
Usually the notion the Lions can return from their bye refreshed and ready to roll has been delusional. It should be different in 2010, though.
