Pat Caputo: Wolverines Third Straight Victory Over MSU Evidence Rivalry Has Turned
It was a terrific basketball game. Everything the Michigan State-Michigan rivalry is supposed to be.
Close. Michigan State was batting the ball around toward the basket at the end. When it didn't go in, the Wolverines won.
Intense. The crowd was up and loud the entire game. It will be a long time before they say they don't get into basketball at Michigan again.
The Wolverines beat Michigan State for the third time in a row, 60-59. Bottom line, although Tom Izzo's Spartans aren't going away anytime soon. Michigan coach John Beilein is the first to acknowledge it.
