The defensive line, with the additions of Kyle Vanden Bosch, Corey Williams and Ndamukong Suh, is considerably improved.
There have been times when they put tremendous pressure on opposing quarterbacks - and it has made the defense in its entirety effective. In addition, it has made the Lions more stout against the run
Then there have been other times, when the defensive line has been neutralized, and the defense has struggled in its totality.
