It's impossible to be at Michigan Stadium and not feel the ghosts from the past. Fielding Yost, Tom Harmon, Bo Schembechler and all the great players and teams he fielded - and Desmond Howard and Charles Woodson in the years after.
Same with Michigan State and the Spartans' tremendous teams from the 1950s and 1960s - and the Rose Bowl team George Perles coached in the late 1980s.
