So there is a long line of teams that have caused them — and their fans - headache, heartache and severe damage.
At the head of the line, though, are the Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings haven't just beaten the Lions, they have devastated them.
This goes back to the late 1960s and early 1970s when the Lions had multiple Hall of Famers (Charlie Sanders, Dick LeBeau, Lem Barney), several other star-caliber players — Mel Farr, Alex Karras, among others) — and just couldn't beat the Vikings.
