Although Rex Ryan has been a head coach just two seasons in the National Football League, he has already been given legendary status.
What has not been determined yet is whether Ryan has become a legend in the sense of Lombardi, Shula, Belichick — and other NFL coaching icons — for winning.
Or whether he is only legendary in the same way a knucklehead from your graduating class in high school was renown for being a clown.
Ryan cussed up a storm on HBO's "Hard Knocks," causing the saintly Tony Dungy to call him out publicly for swearing. Ryan's reaction: Swear some more.
