PAT CAPUTO: More Sweetness To Come For Spartans
It's difficult to look at Michigan State's 35-27 victory over Northwestern Saturday as anything but a classic "character" win.
The Spartans were down 17-0 on the road against a team that wasn't, frankly, given the respect it deserved by many coming into the game.
Little was going right for the Spartans. They were in serious trouble and responded well. This wasn't unlike the Notre Dame game when the Spartans were tested in overtime - and passed with an improbable fake field goal for the deciding touchdown.
