Pat Caputo: Browns Whining About Hit Says More About Their Lack Of Toughness Than Suh's Lack Of Sportsmanship
Whining from the Cleveland Browns' camp about Lions' rookie defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh's rough treatment of quarterback Jake Delhomme Saturday is pathetic.
While Suh's treatment of Delhomme obviously broke the rules, he has already received just punishment - a 15-yard penalty.
It wasn't even a consideration to eject him from the game at the time, nor was it necessary, even in retrospect.
Also, who is Seneca Wallace, the Browns' backup quarterback, to come out publicly and suggest a suspension for Suh? On the NFL food chain, he is plankton. Maybe Wallace should accomplish something in the league before sounding off.
