Pat Caputo: Big Ten Needs The Right Fit For Expansion
Last week, the Big Ten Conference, as long anticipated, took essentially its first steps toward expanding.
Not by just one team, turning the Big Ten into what would be an unseemly Big 12, Part II. But by as many as five teams, which would somehow make the Big Ten, well, The Big 16 ... or The Big 15 ... or The Big 14 ... or The Big 13.
Guess it depends on which schools accept the offer.
