Parole Absconder Wanted For Questioning In Pontiac Murder

PONTIAC (WWJ) - The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find a Pontiac man they want to question in a Pontiac murder.

Investigators want to question 24-year-old Ryan Hendon in connection with the shooting death of 42-year-old Terrence Brown of Rochester Hills in a Pontiac neighborhood on Oct. 20.

"He's already parole absconder with an underlying conviction of armed robbery," said Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard, "and obviously he's on the run for a reason, we believe."

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information on Hendon's whereabouts. He is believed to be staying in the Oakland County area.

"The investigators have been working on this pretty hard over the last couple weeks and developed information to the point where this is a person we want to talk to about it," Bouchard said.

Tipsters are asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 248-858-4911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
