Panasonic Automotive Systems Co. Of America Moves To Farmington Hills
FARMINGTON HILLS -- Panasonic Automotive Systems Co. of America, a division of Panasonic Corp. of North America, announced it has relocated its Michigan offices from Southfield to Farmington Hills.
The move is part of the company's strategic expansion to support its growing business while allowing the company to consolidate business locations and expand local engineering and development capabilities.
The 91,000-square-foot facility, located at 37101 Corporate Drive, near 12 Mile and Halsted Road, houses the company's senior management team, advanced engineering groups, systems and HMI engineering, branded audio, program management, electrification business unit, sales, marketing, credit, customer care, supply chain management, and human resources functions.
The prime location provides easy access to customer and supplier locations, Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, I-696, and I-275.
The company's old space was about 60,000 square feet in size.

Panasonic Automotive has moved its existing employees into the new location and anticipates adding new personnel to help support the company's growth plans.
