Over 250 Jobs Open At Oakland County Career Fair
AUBURN HILLS (WWJ) - A big Oakland County job fair Wednesday will bring together companies that are hiring with people looking for work. Over 250 jobs are up for offer at the fair, which runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Hilton Suites in Auburn Hills.
C.J. Eason from JobFairGiant.com said the jobs are mostly for professional and skilled workers and there will interviewing on the spot.
"This is the type of career fair where you want to bring your A-game and you want to practice your presentation ahead of time because you want to deliver a great presentation to these recruiters."
Eason said Ross Medical Education Centers is looking for teachers at the fair, and other employers are looking to hire those with experience in nursing, sales, engineering, finance, insurance and office support.
"Instructors for the medical department and dental department. But in addition to that, we have credit unions offering positions for tellers. We have T-Mobile, they're looking for retail positions. We have IT positions, mechanical engineering positions, a little of everything."
