Ordering Pizza From Domino's Will Soon Be A Tweet Away

ANN ARBOR (CBS Detroit) - Ordering Domino's will soon be as easy as adding an emoji to tweet.
The Ann Arbor-based pizza company will launch a new, Twitter-based option for ordering pizza on May 20.
Company officials state customers who add their Twitter handle to their Domino's Pizza Profile will be able to re-order their "Easy Order" by tweeting #EasyOrder or the pizza emoji to @Dominos.
The new service was teased in a series of Tweets from the company's Twitter account:
The company will then send a customer's "Easy Order" through an automated direct message, which customers must confirm.
Customers who do not have a saved "Easy Order" will be prompted to set it up in their Pizza Profile.
This is the latest technological offering from Domino's, which reports nearly 50 percent of its sales in the United States in 2014 are ordered digitally online or through an app on their mobile device including iPad, iPhone, Android, Windows Phone 8 and Kindle Fire.
On these mobile apps, customers can use a voice activated assistant, Dom, to assist in the mobile ordering process. Other advancements include launching its Tracker service on Pebble smart watches and offering The company also offers in-car ordering with Ford's SYNC in-car connectivity system.
