One Person Dead Following Shooting Outside Downtown Detroit Bar
DETROIT (WWJ) -- One man is dead following a shooting in downtown Detroit's Cadillac Square early Saturday morning.
Authorities say that at around 2 a.m, a 19-year-old man and a 23-year-old man got into an altercation with a group of five suspects at a downtown bar. The two men were entering their car when the suspects opened fire.
The 19-year-old was struck in the body and died as a result of the injury. The 23-year-old was unharmed.
Detroit Police are now on the look-out for five black males believed to have been involved. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
