One Killed, 3 Hurt In Shooting Outside Detroit Home
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are investigating yet another deadly shooting in the city.
Stefan Turner, Jr., 27, was gunned down in broad daylight outside of a home off Livernois near Grand River Wednesday afternoon.
WWJ Newsradio 950's Stephanie Davis spoke with Emmett Turner, the victim's uncle.
"I'm thoroughly pissed, and I will help the police do anything," said Turner. "Anything that I find out I will cooperate and I hope the people around here who seen something do the same."
"This has gotta stop; it's crazy. These people are just randomly shooting the city apart. That's why don't no one wanna live here," he said
Three others were injured in the shooting including a 4-year-old boy. All are expected to be OK.
Investigators said the shooting started with an earlier argument and the fatal victim was specifically targeted. They are searching for three men believed to be responsible for the attack, but no arrests have been made.
Latonya Miller said her sister was one of those shot. "My sister said she didn't even know who the guy was ... She don't know who shot her. She just seen the guys walking up the street and all of a sudden guns turned out and they shot."
Police are looking for tips in the case as the investigation continues.
