Karsch Comments On Tressel Resignation
DETROIT (WWJ) - Developing news in the world of sports, Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel has resigned. OSU officials are now confirming the news.
Doug Karsch of 97-1 The Ticket says U-of-M will be closely watching the situation.
"Ohio is loaded this year in terms of recruits, Brady Hoke and his staff are really dialed into the state of Ohio, I don't know that his timing or Michigan's timing could be any better, because they are ready to pounce," says Karsch.
There had been mounting pressure on Tressell to step down -- amid allegations about the culture of the program which is being investigated by the N-C-double A for possible rules violations.
"What this does is, it affirms that much of the rumors we've heard probably have truth, much of what has been reported and disputed, is probably true," adds Karsch.
