Officers Trained To Spot Drivers On Drugs
DETROIT (WWJ) - Before you hop behind the wheel, beware that the latest anti-drunk driving campaign. which kicks off this weekend, has a new twist.
"Drug Recognition Experts" are trained to recognize people who may not be drunk, but are otherwise under the influence. Fifteen Michigan officers just graduated for training and are part of the "Over the Limit, Under Arrest" campaign that runs through July 10.
