Officers Stumped By Cars Stuck, Stuck, Stuck In Mud
WATERFORD TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - A pair of suspects in Waterford Township were two "sticks in the mud."
Around 4 am last Saturday, Waterford Township Police responded to a neighborhood on a call of a suspicious vehicle stuck in a ditch in front of a home.
The vehicle in question, a Chevy Camaro, was not occupied and the driver was nowhere to be found. Officers left the area after checking for the driver.
About an hour later, the officers responded to another call of two vehicles now stuck in the ditch at the same location.
When the officers arrived, they found three vehicles stuck in the ditch and several subjects standing around.
Investigation revealed that the first vehicle, the Camaro, got stuck when the driver misjudged a curve and went off the road.
The occupants and driver left the scene and returned with a Jeep Liberty to try and get the Camaro out, but the Jeep got stuck.
The occupants left again and returned with a Chevy Tahoe to try and get the now two vehicles unstuck but, yes you guessed it, the third vehicle also got stuck in the wet, muddy ditch.
It is unknown if the three subjects would have returned with a fourth larger vehicle.
Officers were able to catch the suspects as their feet were also stuck in the mud... sorry, just kidding. Actually, the suspects told the officers what they had done.
Two Waterford teens, 18 and 19 years old, were ticketed for minor in possession consumption.
