Oakland's Travis Bader Will Join Summer League Teams Of 76ers, Warriors

CBS DETROIT - Travis Bader set an NCAA record for 3-pointers in his college career at Oakland University, and now he will get his shot at the next level. Bader, whose name was not called in Thursday's draft, has agreed to play for the summer league teams of the Philadelphia 76ers and the Golden State Warriors.
Quite a few teams have found Bader's sharpshooter ability attractive, and Oakland coach Greg Kampe believes Bader's shooting proficiency will make it impossible for some team to pass him up.
"You need that," Kampe told the Lansing State Journal. "It allows the superstars to get maybe two or three more points a game than they would get because you can't double off him. If you leave him and double a superstar, he's going to knock down a shot.
"To me, that's the thing that sets him apart and makes him a commodity," Kampe continued. "In the NBA, I think you have great players and you have specialists. And I think he's a specialist and one of the best there is."
