'None Of Your Business' Post On Facebook Strikes Chord, Goes Viral

DETROIT (CBS DETROIT) - It's not the first time Emily Elizabeth Bingham has been at the epicenter of the 'when are you having children' question -- but her recent Facebook post answering that inquiry struck a chord and went viral.

Bingham, 33, started with an ultrasound image of a fetus to catch attention and then went into a lesson on sensitivity and etiquette.

"Hey everyone!!! Now that I got your attention with this RANDOM ULTRASOUND PHOTO I grabbed from a Google image search, this is just a friendly P.S.A. that people's reproductive and procreative plans and decisions are none of your business. NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS," she wrote.

Pleading for people to stop the invasive and insensitive inquiries Bingham's September post went on:

"Before you ask the young married couple that has been together for seemingly forever when they are finally gonna start a family ... before you ask the parents of an only-child toddler when a Little Brother or Little Sister will be in the works ... before you ask a single 30-something if/when s/he plans on having children because, you know, clock's ticking ... just stop. Please stop. "

Bingham told the Detroit Free Press she never expected to get the shared response on social media -- with over 75,000 shares to date.

"I think I finally felt mad enough about it to say something," Bingham told the newspaper.

Apparently her message connected with thousands of others because really it's None Of Your Business.
