"No Roof Left Behind" Searches For Deserving Macomb Co. Family
MACOMB COUNTY (WWJ) - If you've every been in a position where you don't think one more thing can go wrong - then your roof begins to leak; this program may be right up your alley.
Through the "No Roof Left Behind" program, a struggling family in need of a new roof, can get one free of charge.
Ridgecon Construction in Macomb county is accepting nominations for a deserving Macomb County family through July 20th, the nominations will be reviewed by neighborhood volunteers who will select four finalists for the public to vote on between August 3rd and September 7th.
Jay Elie is co-owner of Ridgecon Construction - he spoke with WWJ about the annual program.
"You can nominate someone who's deserving or you can nominate yourself ... if you've fallen on hard times which most have. You just upload a picture of yourself or the person you're nominating along with a paragraph telling about the deserving person," said Elie.
