No Charges Against Mom Who Shot, Killed 24-Year-Old Son
PONTIAC (WWJ) - Oakland County prosecutors announced Monday that they will not issue charges against a mother who shot her 24-year-old son during a domestic argument.
After reviewing the case, the Prosecutor's Office will not be issuing any charges against the Farmington Hills woman who claimed self-defense.
On October 28, Farmington Hills police were called to an apartment at the Independence Green Apartment Complex. The woman reported that her son had broken into her apartment and was threatening her with a concrete block.
The woman shot and killed her son, identified as Demitrius Deneze-Raymond Taylor, who lived in Detroit.
Police stated that there had been disturbances between the family members in the past.
