Nissan Recalls Several Models Over Engine Issues
DETROIT (WWJ) - Nissan is recalling close to 15,000 vehicles to fix a problem that could result in oil leaks and engine damage.
The recall affects 2011-12 Infiniti FX and M models, along with Nissan Frontier, Xterra, Pathfinder and NV models.
Bolts that connect the engine oil filter to the engine may not be strong enough and could break, causing an oil leak. The resulting drop in oil pressure could cause the engine to seize, which would increase the risk of a crash.
It's Nissan's third recall this month.
