New Prescription Drug Card Could Save You Money
PONTIAC (WWJ) - Oakland County will be the first in the state to roll out a new discount prescription drug program.
The Coast to Coast R-X Card is aimed at middle class families who may already be insured, but facing higher drug costs.
"The discount maybe even better using the discount card program," Oakland County Commissioner Jim Runstead told WWJ Health Reporter Sean Lee.
"So, even if you have insurance, definitely you'll want to do some cost comparison with this card and see if you can get a better deal through your pharmacy with the new Coast to Coast R-X Card," Runstead said.
The card is free, and it also covers dental and vision services and even pet prescriptions at participating pharmacies.
