New Details Emerge From Foiled Armored Car Heist

DETRIOT (WWJ) New details Saturday in the foiled armored car heist in Sterling Heights from earlier this month.

The FBI says 20-year-old Diondrey Washington of Eastpointe, the fourth person arrested in the July 8th robbery, allegedly stashed some of the cash behind a "Scarface" movie poster at his parents home.

Also among those arrested was 21-year-old David Simpson of Highland Park, who worked for the Total Armored Car Service... and allegedly planned the heist.

Police say the group stole $315,000 from the vehicle which was parked outside the Michigan Department of Treasury Building on Dequindre.
