In May, for the first time, Michigan acknowledged that its storied football program had committed major violations and imposed a series of penalties, including two years of probation.
Next Saturday, U-M will appear before the NCAA's Committee on Infractions to plead its case why it should not face additional sanctions. And U-M will dispute an allegation that coach Rich Rodriguez "failed to promote an atmosphere of compliance." On Thursday, though, the case grew more complex with new accusations against Rodriguez.
