NCAA Declares DeAnthony Arnett Is Eligible To Play This Season
Michigan State and DeAnthony Arnett got some good news on Thursday. The NCAA has approved Arnett's residence waiver, which means the wide receiver will be eligible to play for Michigan State in 2012.
This is very good news for a Michigan State team that was a bit thin at wide receiver after losing its top four receivers from 2011 to graduation or the NFL.
Arnett decided to transfer from Tennessee to Michigan State back in January, but at first was told by Tennessee head coach Derek Dooley he could only transfer to one of the MAC schools located in the state, not Michigan or Michigan State.
