NASCAR Sprint Cup At MIS Delayed By Rain
BROOKLYN, Mich. (97.1 The Ticket) - The start of the Sprint Cup race at Michigan International Speedway is being delayed by rain.
Saturday Marcos Ambrose set a Michigan International Speedway track qualifying record in winning the pole for Sunday's Quicken Loans 400.
Ambrose toured the two-mile speedway with a lap of 203.241 mph to earn his first career Sprint Cup Series pole.
It was the third fastest qualifying lap in NASCAR history behind Cale Yarborough and Bill Elliott.
