MSU Linebacker Jon Misch, Former Miss Michigan Jaclyn Schultz To Compete On 'Survivor: San Juan del Sur'
(CBS Detroit) - Michigan is being well represented on CBS reality TV this fall including a couple from Waterford on "Survivor" as well as a mother/daughter team from Detroit on "The Amazing Race".
College sweathearts Jon Misch and and Jaclyn Schultz will compete on "Survivor: San Juan del Sur" The goal is to outwit, outplay, outlast and ultimately be crowned Sole Survivor and winner of the $1 million dollar prize.
Misch, currently a financial assistant lists his personal claim to fame as "Wining a big 10 championship at Michigan State University." His career notes listed at msuspartans.com show that he appeared in 45 games, had seven starts and made 81 tackles. Listed as why he thinks he'll survive the show Misch says, "I can build a fire from scratch, debone/gut a fish, catch lizards and lift things up and put them down."
His teammate and girlfriend Jaclyn Schultz is currently a media buyer and was crowned Miss Michigan in 2013. Schultz who has a condition MRKH syndrome which causes women to be born without a uterus. She says that winning "Survivor" could be very meaningful for her future with Misch, "Our sole purpose of being on this show is to challenge ourselves, but to also win to start a family by adoption or surrogacy."
