MSU Equipment Coordinator Retiring After Over 3 Decades
EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Bob Knickerbocker is retiring after more than three decades as Michigan State's head athletic equipment coordinator.
The school announced Knickerbocker's retirement Thursday. It will take effect June 30. He's been the head equipment coordinator since 1983.
Football coach Mark Dantonio says Knickerbocker has been a mainstay in the football program, and athletic director Mark Hollis says he's had a great impact in his profession.
Knickerbocker has worked in 21 of Michigan State's 25 bowl games, including the Rose Bowl in 1988 and 2014.
