Motorcyclist Killed After Collision With Deer In Lapeer County
LAPEER COUNTY (WWJ) - The Lapeer County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man hit a deer while riding a motorcycle.
Both the 61-year-old man from Lum -- near Arcadia Township -- and the animal were killed. Police say it happened along Burnside Road in North Branch.
A driver noticed the man around 1:30 a.m. Sunday and called 911.
It's believed alcohol may have been a factor. Authorities say the man was not wearing a helmet.
Police have not released the identity of the man.
