CBS DETROIT - Stanford cornerback Wayne Lyons announced on Twitter that he would stay in school for his final year of eligibility instead of declaring for the NFL draft, and since then it has been reported that he is considering a transfer to Michigan. Lyons' mother Gwendolyn Bush is now listed in the University of Michigan directory as the director of player development for the football program.
She confirmed the new job on Twitter and also created a new Twitter account, @UMICH_Mama_G, with a profile picture of her in Michigan gear and a bio that includes her job title at the university. She recently tweeted a photo of the Wolverines going through offseason workouts.
Lyons made 30 tackles in 13 games in the 2014 season for Stanford.
