Tornado Watch Posted For SE Michigan
SOUTHFIELD (WWJ)- Rain, rain go away. Another day of rain is expected Sunday across southeastern Michigan. But sunshine and hot weather is expected for Memorial Day.
There are thunderstorms in the forecast for today. Some of the storms could be severe. Just after 1 p.m., the National Weather Service issued a Tornado Watch until 8 p.m. for all of southeastern Michigan.

Damaging wind in excess of 60 miles per hour and one-inch in diameter hail are possible. WWJ forecasters say the storms could hit about 5 p.m.
A flood warning is still in place for the Huron River near Hamburg Township south of Brighton.
The river is one foot above flood stage and moderate flooding is occurring. The river is expected to crest this afternoon, but additional rain may aggravate current flooding.
The Detroit Tigers game against Boston was cancelled last night because of rain. It's the fourth time in two weeks the Tigers have been rained out.

Sunday: Turning partly sunny, warmer and more humid with a shower and thunderstorm in the area through this evening. Any thunderstorm Sunday afternoon and evening could turn severe. High 82.
Sunday night: Warm and humid with patchy clouds. Low 67.
Monday, Memorial Day: Very warm and humid with a good deal of sunshine. High 88.
Tuesday: Hot and humid with a mix of sun and clouds. High near 90. Chance for thunderstorms Tuesday night.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny; not as hot, nor as humid. High 82.
Thursday: Sunshine and nice. High 81.
