Monroe County Girl Found, Reunited With Family
LAMBERTVILLE (WWJ/AP) - Authorities say a 15-year-old girl who had been missing from her home near the Ohio border since February has been found safe.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Department said Summer Wyatt was located Tuesday afternoon by deputies and was reunited with her parents. Investigators believe Wyatt ran away and no foul play was involved.
The girl was reported missing Feb. 20 from her home in the Lambertville area, about 50 miles southwest of Detroit.
Police agencies in Michigan and Ohio, as well as the FBI, were involved in efforts to find her.
