Missing Oak Park Man Found Dead In Detroit
Detroit (WWJ) - A local family gets the news it was hoping would never come. Their loved one has been found dead in Detroit, three weeks after he vanished.
The body of 39-year-old James Mullen -- of Oak Park -- was found in his snow-covered SUV on Detroit's southwest side. He had been shot to death, and police believe his body had been in the car for a while.
Neighbors say they thought something could be wrong because they had noticed the unfamiliar SUV sitting in the same spot for weeks, but it wasn't until the snow began melting away that someone looked inside and saw Mullen's body.
