Missing Detroit Girls Found Safe
DETROIT (WWJ) - Two Detroit girls who disappeared earlier this week have been found.
Police said 10-year-old Shania Jolly and her 12-year-old sister Janae Jolly were found sometime Thursday night, although they wouldn't say how or where the girls were located.
Latrina Jolly, the girls' mother, earlier told police she went to pick her daughters up from Erma J. Henderson School around 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, but they were nowhere to be found.
Police said both girls were last seen at approximately 10 minutes earlier, walking out the school's main doors toward Chicago Street. Officers canvassed the area and spoke with family members, but found no trace of the girls.
Latrina Jolly told police that her daughters were both suspended from school, leading investigators to believe the girls may have run away.
