Missing Brandon Township Man Found
It's a happy ending in the case of a missing Oakland County man. The 59-year old man who suffers from dementia and schizophrenia has been found and is now safe at home.
Authorities say John Taylor was found, Friday, in the Waterford area near the old Summit Place Mall. He was cold, but did not need any medical attention.
Someone, who recognized him from media reports, contacted police who picked him up and took back to his group home in Brandon Township.
Taylor walked away from his doctor's office after he was dropped off Wednesday prompting the missing persons report.
Police say he told them he stayed warm by spending time in open businesses and 24-hour restaurants.
