Middle East Revolts Have Ripple Effect
DETROIT (WWJ) - Egypt's youth revolution is triggering widespread protests across the Middle East. Western Michigan University Professor Dr. Ali Metwalli teaches finance and commercial law and is an Egyptian native.
"They thought they were different than Tunisia, but the spark of Tunisia has basically created a tidal wave and it's moving throughout the whole Middle East. It's a good bright day for the Middle East," says Metwalli.
Metwalli says there will be some tough sledding ahead, but he thinks the Middle East is headed in the right direction.
