MiCTA Picks E-Rate Consultant
Funds For Learning Selected by MiCTA to Provide E-Rate Consulting
Saginaw-based MiCTA, a national non-profit cooperative purchasing organization, has selected Edmond, Okla.-based Funds For Learning to provide E-Rate consulting services to its eligible members.
MiCTA's K-12, library and rural health care members can purchase comprehensive E-Rate consulting services at a significant discount using MiCTA's Master Service Agreement.
Said MiCTA COO Tim von Hoff: "Our eligible members have a real need for high-quality E-Rate consulting services. The services offered by Funds For Learning will ensure that our members can take full advantage of available Universal Service Fund discounts on telecommunications and Internet services."
E-rate is a deep discount on Internet connectivity, computers and other tech products and services provided to schools and other nonprofits through a fee paid on all phone bills, the Universal Service Fund.
MiCTA's Master Service Agreement allows E-Rate eligible MiCTA members to contract for complete E-Rate consulting services from Funds For Learning. All of MiCTA's competitively bid contracts provide significant cost savings to its members and eliminate the need for MiCTA members to conduct their own competitive bidding processes.
MiCTA's Master Service Agreement with Funds For Learning is effective through April 2013.
