Michigan State's Costello Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery
EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan State says Matt Costello should be able to resume full basketball activity in a few weeks after undergoing knee surgery.
The school says in a statement that the 6-foot-9 Costello underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Tuesday.
Costello finished his junior season with Michigan State's Final Four appearance. He averaged seven points and 5.2 rebounds a game last season for the Spartans.
