Michigan State University Students Studying In Ecuador Safe After Deadly Quake
EAST LANSING (WWJ) - Four Michigan State University students who are studying in Ecuador are said to be okay, following a massive earthquake in that country.
Hundreds of people are reported dead and thousands more have been injured -- with many still unaccounted for officials state.
Michigan State University said there are four students currently in Ecuador as part of their international studies program. They have made contact with the students and they are all safe according to a report on WXYZ.
The MSU students were supposed to be in Quito, which is more than 100 miles from the epicenter of Saturday night's quake.
