On December 31st Michigan State will try to do what they haven't done since 1966 -- Put themselves in a position to play for the National Title in football.
Mark Dantonio has been preaching a two word statement all season long, "reach higher." That is exactly what the Spartans have done this season with victories over ranked teams in Oregon, Michigan, Ohio State and most recently Iowa.
One Spartan fan has made a hype video for the upcoming playoff game and Dantonio's comments will give you goose bumps.
The Spartans take on Alabama New Year's Eve at 8 p.m.
